WHO I AM
Hello! I’m Sindy Calderón, founder and lead educator of Spanishground. With a Bachelor’s Degree in Foreign Language Education from Universidad Santo Tomás and over 15 years of teaching experience across Colombia and the United States, my lifelong passion has been guiding children of all ages into the world of language.
As both an educator and a mother, I created Spanishground to help children from both Spanish and non-Spanish speaking families discover the joy, confidence, and cultural connections that come with learning Spanish.

Behind Spanishground is a passionate family team working with heart. While I lead the educational experience, my husband powers the creative and technical foundation behind our website, videos, digital content, and technology. Together, we are building a dream to impact young lives through meaningful learning.
Our Educational Philosophy
We believe that learning a language opens doors to new cultures, ideas, and lifelong friendships. Our approach creates immersive experiences where communication flows naturally, curiosity leads the way, and children are encouraged to ask questions, explore, and enjoy every step of the process.
